For international jet setting couple, Margaret and Mark, it was up to our design team to create an elegant contemporary look whilst finding the perfect balance between their personal modern style and incorporating both South African and Taiwanese designer details.

It is not often that the sheer location of a wedding leaves our team speechless. A location, albeit distinctly luxurious in parts, is actually quite wild in all others! Nestled on the banks of the Sabie River – Lion Sands, one of the most exclusive designer lodges in the Kruger National Park, was to play host to another flagship Wedding Concepts celebration.

A mini moon can be every bit as glamorous and indulgent as a longer honeymoon – so long as you get the location right. With only a short time away from home, you clearly don’t want to spend too long travelling. Modern colour-blocked floral elements introduced tall arrangements which added scale and depth to the area around the dance floor, and a mass of clustered green and white Chinese lanterns in varying sizes and heights created a dazzling focal feature above the dance floor – tying the look together beautifully.

To celebrate our end of season and a busy FIFA World Cup month, the Wedding Concepts and Travel Concepts teams spent last weekend at The Robertson Small Hotel in the beautiful Robertson Valley, just two hours drive up the N1 from Cape Town.
