The Story:

Antje and Moritz were very specific in that they wanted a wedding that was “intimate, easy and uncomplicated”. A private beach villa up the West Coast was as intimate as one could get! The weather played perfectly in the couples favour with a light summer breeze which helped to keep the November heat at bay. A simple ceremony – all done in German - on the deserted beach followed by a set table with candles, flowers and a “DIY” style dinner in place – the couple were free to spend their first evening alone as husband and wife.

Travel & Honeymoon:

After their intimate beach wedding the couple returned to Cape Town for a night at 2 Inn 1 Kensington, a boutique guest house in the quiet neighbourhood of Oranjezicht on the slopes of Table Mountain, before embarking on their African honeymoon. Arranged by Travel Concepts, the couple stopped over in various small towns along the scenic Garden Route. In Swellendam they stayed at Schoone Oordt, the luxurious, yet laid-back country guesthouse. A safari at The Gorah Elephant Camp, an exclusive safari lodge in the Eastern Cape followed where the couple were able to have sundowners on the veranda of the Manor House whilst watching wild animals come and go at the watering hole.
