Take our Word
It is possible to work with two different décor concepts across the same colour palette to achieve an elegant and romantic dinner space. For outdoor receptions, add luxurious draping to bring the warmth and feeling of being “indoors” outside.
Marupeng and Ncedi’s wedding brief was to resemble a combination of interior design styled elements and plenty of beautiful details at every touch point. Working closely with the bride’s sister, an Interior Designer, our Creative Director, Kate Diaz, sought to create a romantic look for this stylish young couple that would truly encapsulate their natural style.
Molenvliet was the perfect choice of venue and as guests arrived they were met with incredible natural scenery and an exquisite blush ceremony gazebo with trailing vines and soft white florals. Breaking away from tradition, the couple chose to cut their 6-tier white chocolate cake immediately after the ceremony.
It was at pre-drinks that the décor and design team created a ‘Vineyard Street Party’. The space was filled with modern lounging and cocktail furniture concepts. Midnight Blue was introduced and mass arrangements in large ginger jars added a soft and elegant design feel.
For the reception, guests were ushered to the transformed terrace that was glamorously set for an al fresco dinner under the stars! Two decor concepts were carried across the reception dinner tables. Round oak tables had trees attached to them that were filled with blush and white florals, whilst midnight blue tablecloths created stunning contrast. Beautiful customized stationery created the final designer touch.
The After Party space was transformed with “walls” of fairy lights creating cozy pockets for lounging; and Poplar trees brought the outdoors inside. The dessert station was adorned with a stunning array of delicious options, including a DIY sundae bar. DJ Nigel Jaxx elevated the party once guests hit the dance floor and they partied the night away in this chic and stylish space.
