“From the moment our team met Amy her love affair with antique touches and beautiful vintage details, were the perfect brief to set the timeless-chic tone for their vintage celebration.”
Stylish Dubai based couple Amy & Chris had a very clear vision for their vintage inspired South African destination wedding: it had to be chic, bespoke and filled with beautiful custom-made details. From the moment our team met Amy her love affair with antique touches and beautiful vintage details, were the perfect brief to set the timeless-chic tone for their vintage celebration.
The 300 – year old Grande Provence Estate was the perfect setting for this sophisticated destination celebration, offering picturesque views of the surrounding lush vineyards and breath-taking mountain ranges. Amy and Chris’s wedding took full advantage of this world class location having an all day, al fresco celebration! It was important for the couple’s closest friends and family who had flown in from Dubai, Germany & New Zealand to not only have a unique & luxurious wedding experience but also that the wedding day reflected Amy & Chris’s personalities.
On arrival, guests were escorted into a private garden where a bespoke, custom – made 4 metre tall ceremony backdrop, which was adorned with draping and abundant pastel toned florals, set the scene for the beautifully designed and detailed day ahead!
The wedding look and feel was carried through to the open – air dining area, where trendy lounge pockets were created for the guests to enjoy later on in the evening. There were a number of perfectly styled areas, consisting of suspended chandeliers, quirky and personalised stationery details, for guests to pose with and capture the ambience of the day.
The stunning pastel shades were carried through in the elegant and romantic inspired floral arrangements, adding to the over timeless look & feel. Each guest received a personalised napkin with the evening’s delectable meal printed on, as well as a unique ‘Touch of Africa’ place card. The bride’s father hand painted the animals gold and created an accurate slit for each guests name card to be carefully slotted in – personalisation to the ‘T’!
After the guests enjoyed an evening of ‘dining under the African stars’ they were then ushered into the dance area, beautifully lit up with fairy light curtains creating yet another picture perfect backdrop for the grand & beautifully detailed 4 – tier cake. The day was made that much more memorable and unique with a surprise solo acoustic performance by Chris dedicated, of course to his new wife!
For our team, this wedding was a favourite because the celebration showcased the exceptional level of attention that we place into every wedding detail from personalised wedding gifts, designer stationery and custom made menus!
