To stand a chance against the surrounding Cape vistas, the décor took its inspiration from a local beauty – the Strelitzia flower. Vibrant and architectural in its disposition, the strelitzia not only allowed for a dazzling color palette to work with, but also a rationale to resemble both South Africa and Britain. Named after the birthplace of a former United Kingdom Queen and commonly found in South Africa, the strelitzia become the inspiration throughout the wedding. With all the pieces of the puzzle in place – our design team got to work! It was important that the ambience of the wedding remained relaxed and welcoming. The reception tables were a riot of colour adorned with handmade purple table runners and topped with stunning, modern arrangements of florals and bespoke stationery in the chosen colour palette.
