On what is considered as the first day of the Cape winter, a mild and beautifully sunny day in Franschhoek set the stage for Bongiwe and Zukile’s and luxury Wedding Concepts wedding!

It’s not often that couples approach our expert design team without any preconceived ideas of what their celebration should look like. So when this stylish power-couple gave us  a creative “carte blanche”– it was all we needed to jump head first into a bold and dazzling colour trend that would set the bar for South Africa wedding design.

The inspiration for this exclusive wedding was borne out of the bride’s natural elegance & style and her one request: to create a highly personal, warm & sophisticated celebration honouring their families and friends. And yes – a opulent and glamorous note was very welcome too! Our team took the brief to heart and over many months of planning every detail was thought about and completely personalised to the couples’ taste and personalities.

A mix of glamorous gold, bold contrasting colours, vibrant shades of fuchsia flowers and many bespoke design elements gave the wedding a true “wow-factor”. Not least because a staggering 40 stunning crystal chandeliers were suspended over the tables and the golden 7-tier wedding cake almost stole the show! The stage design and dance floor were customised for the couple and a beautiful ceremony gazebo and the outdoor lounge were the talking point during pre-dinner drinks.

With 350 distinguished wedding guests in attendance and dancing the night away in style to the fabulous band – Bongiwe thanked us in her heartfelt wedding speech for the months of planning and allowing them to celebrate their union in such elegance & style and with a unique personal touch.
