This inspirational trend shoot was a coming together of two luxury brands to showcase how an exceptionally styled celebration, with an on-trend colour scheme, could be achieved in the elegant spaces at the One & Only Hotel, as well as across key wedding design features.

A definitive family celebration with attention to detail and a flair for exciting creative design – our Creative Director, Kate Diaz, worked closely with the bride’s sister, an Interior Designer, to create and tailor make a look for this young and stylish couple, that spoke of pure sophistication and classic romance.

Temi and Tayo had their hearts set on Cape Town to host their luxury wedding. Our design team were thrilled that their desired look for their celebration would be all about suspended florals, hanging backdrops and glittering lighting effects – all expertly detail planned examples of modern luxury decor!

There is something so dreamy and distinctive about a seaside wedding celebration; the unique scenery, the naturally relaxed atmosphere and not to mention the sounds of waves crashing as you exchange vows. For Natalie & Carl’s destination wedding Carl’s family home set, in the beautiful cove of Grotto Bay in the Western Cape, was to play host to their intimate beach wedding.

Young lovebirds Lauren and Keelan celebrated their wedding in the Wellington Winelands in vibrant shades of yellow and navy blue – with detailed touches of fun vintage styling too!

Every so often at Wedding Concepts, our team gets to design and execute weddings of such grand scale and magnificence – they need to be seen to be believed! For the glamorous celebration of Philisiwe Buthelezi & Nathi Mthethwa we were asked to create & coordinate a wedding reflective of sophistication and understated chic for their prominent 600 guests.

Anna & David’s real-life wedding shows a distinctive return to a by-gone era of style, sophistication, and elegance all whilst incorporating elements of modern contrasts and opulence. Glitz and Glamour is back!

Drawing on the couple’s affinity for contemporary design, modern art and sleek interiors, the winelands venue offered the perfect blank canvas as backdrop. A colour scheme of whites, creams, grey, as well as natural browns soon manifested itself – and conveyed the same sentiment one would get when looking at an Instagram shot of a chic dining room interior.

A spontaneous combustion of two cultures, several colours and boundless charisma, this wedding will be remembered by all for its candid heartiness packaged in a daring exterior!

Maximising the magic of the great outdoors, we set out to create a celebration of the senses. With nature the central character, a story of journeying unfolded in chapters of surprise, delight and emotion.

Modern colour-blocked floral elements introduced tall arrangements which added scale and depth to the area around the dance floor, and a mass of clustered green and white Chinese lanterns in varying sizes and heights created a dazzling focal feature above the dance floor – tying the look together beautifully.

“Low mixed arrangements of hydrangeas, Bombay roses, lisianthus, garden roses, and elegant magenta orchids added incredible pops of colour to the chic table setting.”

Guests were met with a grand setting – featuring soft shades of cream, white and champagne contrasting carefully with handpicked golden elements, stylish amber glasses, fine silver plated charger plates and cutlery, and finished off with foiled, luxurious wedding stationery.

Guests arrived at the scenic wine estate in Stellenbosch which had been transformed into a contemporary Indian celebration fit for a modern Maharajah.
