From the beautifully ornate, uber modern, quirky & colourful to the utterly romantic – we have selected our top cake creations from the past season.

Over the last decade boundaries certainly have been pushed when it comes to wedding cake creations – and for this we are thankful! From the limited design options and the use of pillars between each tier, not to mention the mountainous piles of intricate, old fashioned piping, wedding cakes are now stylish reflections of the décor ‘look & feel’.

Every one of these confectionary creations are unique to their individual celebration – all with their own bespoke details. The classic colour white was a popular hue for wedding cakes this past season, used as a base colour together with metallic accents, colourful floral details or used in an ombré colour scheme.

We also saw a twist on the trendy naked-cake & buttercream combination, a favourite is the contrasting use of chocolate sponge & cascading vibrant and multi – coloured florals.
