From the moment we met Melanie & Oliver, we knew this was going to be a trend-setting celebration! The bride’s love affair with interior design, which is enriched by her incredible job at leading Swedish home décor brand, Ikea, was the spark which ignited their stunning wedding décor concept.

A striking colour combination of midnight blue, white, rose quartz and soft pink was tastefully incorporated throughout the flow of the day. Beginning with a cosy ceremony location set next to a picturesque horse paddock, where Melanie and her father were greeted by a curious horse as she made her way down to meet her groom. The modern gazebo was adorned with soft white draping and navy blue satin tie backs completing this classic yet modern look.

Even though this was an intimate celebration, together with the bride, it took a year to coordinate and design this destination wedding – needless to say a great deal of customisation and finesse was taken into account. A key element for the bride was to have the reception table resemble an opulent Styled Shoot tablescape. We created a layered look by stacking glass base plates with striking ‘Delft-blue’ side plates & finishing it off with a white cotton napkin and a gold-foiled personalised menu.

The Midnight blue tablecloth was custom made, perfectly matching the bespoke stationery elements. The floral arrangements introduced the beautiful rose quartz colour palate with imported pink peonies, crisp white Colombian Hydrangeas, berries & fragrant garden roses. To tie this look together modern gold – plated cutlery was added.

Designer lounge pockets were styled in close proximity to the dance floor for guests to utilise once the party started! As the surrounding beaded chandeliers were dimmed, the couple sealed their marriage with romantic first dance and celebrated the night away with their closest friends & family!
