It’s not every day that we get asked to plan and design a traditional African wedding – with a contemporary twist.

It was a natural choice for our elegant, South African, bride Gretchen to marry the man of her dreams, Canadian born, Gabe, in the heart of the Winelands – the setting that she had always dreamed of!

Nombuso had only one specific request for her wedding day: she wanted to feel like Cinderella. That was all our wedding team needed to get started! With the setting in the heart of the affluent Sandton area, our creative teams felt it compulsory to ensure that from the ceremony to reception, the wedding had to be as elegant and glamorous as its host city.
