At Wedding Concepts we pride ourselves on getting an understanding of what our couples envision & artistically enhance this by creating a ‘golden thread’ that pulls through in all the elements of the day – turning each celebration into a unique & spectacular affair! This was the case for our stylish Nigerian couple, Jumoke & Seyi.
For this couple it was evident from the beginning that they envisioned a glamorous, classy and effortlessly chic celebration for their wedding day. The décor concept was based on a colour palette of Champagne Gold with a touch of Tiffany blue, as the groom loved this colour and it was their family’s traditional colour back in Nigeria!
The picturesque town of Franschhoek was the perfect setting for this sophisticated celebration, the couple exchanged their vows in one of the towns oldest Chapels, surrounded by 80 of their closest family & friends who had all traveled from around the world to celebrate this joyous occasion with them!
The overall look was one of sophisticated elegance – a perfect balance between the couple’s favourite colours. The ‘touches of blue’ were carried through by the water glasses, soft blue hydrangeas and personalised stationery handmade just for this bespoke occasion. The décor was beautifully complimented by the addition of Gold elements such as the tiffany chairs, contrasting 5 armed Gold candelabras and stunning gold damask covered screens which were custom-made and used as backdrops for floral and candle installations.
Their 4 tier cake was one of a kind with the second tier specially created in double volume for that extra touch of glam! The unique and personal touches didn’t end there as each guest received a beautifully packaged gift – ladies received a lovely pashmina and Africology Rooibos flavoured tea, whilst the men received a locally made pair of socks.
After a enjoying a sumptuous 4 course plated meal all the guests came together to party the night away on the spectacular dance floor, customised with the couple’s monogram & to the sounds of not one, but two of Nigerian’s best DJ’s flown in just for the occasion!
With all the right ingredients perfectly in place, this truly was the chic & glamorous celebration that the couple had hoped for – yet another bespoke Wedding Concepts Wedding!
