The Wedding Concepts team were “suited and booted” and out in force last night to cheer on our inspiring Managing Director Christina who was one of four finalists for the Business Woman Association Regional Entrepreneur of the year award.

The results were kept a closely guarded secret and only announced at a gala dinner at the new Crystal Towers hotel in Cape Town. Christina didn’t win the overall title, but the judges were glowing in their praise of all finalists in this category which has become a prestigious title in the Western Cape. The team didn’t let the disappointment spoil their evening though and as is customary partied into the night.

Said Christina: “It makes me so proud to share this nomination with my amazing team – we were all there because of the team spirit, support for each other and vision we share in our business.”

Making it into the final round was a really enjoyable experience, being grilled by the judges in a series of interviews and being filmed for the promotional DVD. Just being nominated is a great testament to our team at Wedding Concepts, what we stand for and recognition that we are creating memorable experiences for our clients. The gala dinner was a great way to celebrate and to meet other business women like myself”
